Dorian Electra

Dorian Electra (born Dorian Electra Fridkin Gomberg, June 25, 1992) is an American singer, song-writer, film-maker, and visual artist, known for especially unusual, creative works like pop music videos espousing the principles of Austrian economics and milk. She graduated from Shimer College in Chicago.
==Career==
At the age of 17, Electra received a Freedom Fellowship from the Students For Liberty for 2009-2010, partnering with the Foundation for Economic Education.
She first drew national attention as an 18-year-old in 2010, when she published the music video ''I'm in Love with Friedrich Hayek'', which lauded the philosophy of the Austrian economist in a flirtatiously wonky style that garnered commentary from modern Austrian theory professor Steven Horwitz.
In 2011 she released two more videos, ''Roll with the Flow'' and ''We Got it 4 Cheap''. Both were covered by mainstream political media. ''We Got it 4 Cheap'' came in second in the Lloyd V. Hackley Endowment's "Supply and Demand Video Contest".
In 2012 she interned at production company Emergent Order.〔 Emergent Order had previously published ''Fear the Boom and Bust'', a similarly intellectual, Hayek-oriented rap video.
She then began production of a new, similarly economics-oriented pop video, ''FA$T CA$H'', with the support of an award from the Moving Picture Institute.
Electra's 2012 video on fiscal stimulus, ''FA$T CA$H: Easy Credit & the Economic Crash'', was favorably reviewed by Steven Horwitz in ''The Freeman'' for highlighting the perceived threat posed by quantitative easing.
Electra has also produced art on a diverse range of other topics, including a curious video called ''Party Milk'', which she describes as an attempt to merge common party scene symbolism with something one would never associate with a party, but that everyone is familiar with in another context.
Electra's has drawn criticism from writers such as ''Gawkers Maureen Tkacik, who criticized her as an example of "tween indoctrination" with libertarian ideas.
